We are delighted to be partnering with Harry Perkins and sponsoring The MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer, we have already kicked things off with a special dollar match day, in which Lockton matched funds donated up to a value of $20,000. This was an astounding success and we are delighted to have had a hand in raising $53,450 in the first four minutes of the event! We are looking forward to more fund-raising in the lead up to The Ride and will also be sponsoring various initiatives that will benefit riders on the day.”

Lockton, named amongst ‘Best Places to Work in Insurance’ for the ninth consecutive year, is dedicated not only to supporting our clients but also our communities. To commemorate Lockton’s 50 year anniversary, Associates across the globe volunteered for charities supporting families and children. This global initiative challenged Associates to volunteer 50,000 but in true Lockton fashion they went above and beyond. Together we volunteered 70,540 hours for our communities around the world.

Cancer is the second leading cause of Australian deaths and affects almost 20% of the population and in fact cancer costs Australia $3.8 billion a year in direct health system costs. “We believe our greatest asset is our people and this cause is close to not only our hearts but the hearts of our clients and communities. We intend for this to be the first of many community initiatives that I hope will make a difference and encourage our clients and partners to support the Ride to Conquer Cancer and the wonderful work that the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research do.” says Paul Marsden, CEO.
