Lockton maintains an active programme of charity events, proceeds from which support a Charity of the Year, a central pillar of Lockton’s charity programme. Lockton associates vote annually to select the charity with which Lockton will partner for the next financial year, organising a series of events to support it. A steering group meets every six weeks with charity representatives. The Executive Committee sets fundraising targets and updates associates regularly on progress against these targets. We are all immensely proud of our track record of exceeding our targets year after year. Everyone gets involved in choosing the charity of the year, which helps to create interest and buy-in; paving the way for exceptional levels of associate participation.
We've been proud to support: Whizz Kidz, Alzheimers Society, Macmillan Cancer Support, Help for Heroes, Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Brain Tumour Charity, and the charity partner for 2017, Rainbow Trust.

Lockton Charitable Association
In order to build on our impressive fundraising success over the past few years, Lockton Companies LLP has created a registered charity, the Lockton Charitable Association. This will give us greater flexibility and scope in relation to fundraising and allow us to donate to more than one charitable cause in addition to our chosen charity partner for the year – for example, to provide relief for a natural disaster. It is also an opportunity to be more strategic and create more of a legacy in our giving, and it gives our people the chance to acquire and/or hone skills in running an organisation, by becoming trustees of the Association.
In addition to funds raised by associates throughout the UK, Lockton Companies LLP have agreed to donate £20,000 per year to the Association.
